It’s been a long road here, sixteen years, to be exact.

Jonah began his career as a teenager in the early days of the internet, during the birth of the first wave of YouTube creators. He quickly became obsessed with bringing stories to life that looked and felt like movies but lived online. Even as a teen, he was enchanted by the idea that anyone could DIY their own career in film. That obsession became a lifelong commitment to making and starring in films designed for the digital age.

Over the next decade, Jonah went on to direct and star in his debut feature film, Insight (2014), as well as several shorts including Lions Don’t Swim (2018), a Toronto Buffer Festival selection, and The Win (2018), a New Form Digital pilot. He grew his online presence to over 500,000 followers and reached more than 25 million viewers. His acting work includes leading roles in AwesomessTV’s Royal Crush (2016), CW Seed’s Worst Birthday Ever (2017), and a four-season recurring run on Mr. Student Body President (2016–2018), among others.

Seeking to deepen his understanding of the Business side of storytelling, Jonah moved to New York City in 2020, where he directed content strategy and production for Catch, Breathwrk, and most recently Men’s Journal, concluding his tenure as Social Content Director in Early 2024 after producing content that Grew audiences to over 3.2 million followers and more than 150 million views.

Today, Jonah has returned to his roots as a full-time actor and filmmaker. He continues to create and star in work that bridges digital storytelling and cinematic craft, developing new narrative projects under his production banner, Greenhouse. With a focus on stories that blend humor and grief through a lens of magical realism, Jonah creates films that express hope, invite play, and inspire the next generation of artists.
